Undefeated in his career and treated as a great promise in the middleweight (up to 83,9kg) of Ultimate, BoNickal appears not to have enjoyed the last performance performed at the UFC 300. Biggest favorite of the night, the fighter submitted Cody Brundage in the second round and apologized to Dana White for not starring in the show. Despite the scenario, the athlete revealed crucial advice from the president.

“After the fight, I thought, 'That was bad, man. I wish I had done better. I wanted to make the finish a little more exciting'. But he came to me and told me to keep my head up and keep doing exactly what I'm doing because I'm going to be a big star." BoNickal in an interview with TNT Sports.

As he continued his speech, Bo highlighted the importance of hearing words of encouragement from Dana White.

“Hearing that from him was really cool. He's a guy I respect a lot, and if anyone knows who the stars will be, it's him. This means a lot to me. I think that says a lot about him as a person, to come to me and give me reassurance like that,” she concluded.
