O UFC 300, held last Saturday (13), was the stage for a historic moment for Brazil, with the devastating victory de Alex Poatán about Jamahal hill in defense of the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg). But, in addition to the fight itself, an unusual fact caught attention on social media: the North American's provocation before the fight.

Upon seeing Poatan's “invisible arrow”, always used when the Brazilian enters the octagon, Hill pretended to catch it in the air and, with a movement of his thigh, simulated breaking it.

The scene, which happened in seconds, was captured on camera and quickly spread across the internet, generating a wave of memes and comments. The attitude, interpreted as a provocation, was received coldly by the Brazilian.

Despite the provocation, Hill was unable to intimidate Poatan. The Brazilian dominated the fight from the beginning, connecting powerful and precise blows. Still in the first round, Alex finally found the opening he was looking for and threw a precise left hook. Furthermore, a devastating sequence of punches culminated in a spectacular knockout, declaring the end of the fight and the consecration of the champion.
