Defeated in his last appearance at the UFC 298, Paulo borrachinha recalled performance in front of Robert whittaker and acknowledged the error presented in the octagon. Looking to return to the path of victory, the Brazilian guaranteed that a 'new version' will be prepared for the crucial duel against Sean Strickland, scheduled for June 1, in Newark (USA).

“I just rewatched my fight against Whittaker. I needed to add more rhythm and strokes. Maybe that's why the judges gave him 2-1. Scores. I prioritized the damage factor, I left him bleeding, bleeding every round even with few hits. I'm going to force myself to hit more from now on and keep hunting. Remember my words, I will be a beating machine in the next few years”, declared Borrachinha on his official Facebook account. 'X' (old Twitter).
