After the days of his victory over Aleksandar rakic No. UFC 300, Jiri Prochazka He doesn't want to rest and is aiming for a new title fight in the light heavyweight category (up to 93kg). In an interview with 'The MMA Hour', the Czech suggested a quick return and proposed a fight against the champion Alex Poatán at an event taking place in Brazil, on May 4th.

“I want to fight for the belt as soon as possible. I’m open to fighting in Brazil in two weeks,” said Prochazka.

Jiri's target, Poatan was also highlighted in the historical UFC 300. On that occasion, the athlete brutalized Jamahal hill in the main fight and, afterwards, reinforced his desire to perform in his country on May 4th.

Despite the mutual desire, the challenge should not happen in Brazil. Recently, Alex's manager, Jorge Guimarães, ruled out his pupil's immediate return.
