Protagonist of epic battle for the BMF title in UFC 300, Justin gaethje broke silence and spoke out about the bitter result in front of Max Holloway. Aware of the great danger involved in facing the Hawaiian, the former champion learned positive lessons from the fight and recognized the importance of putting his name on the historic event.

“(It’s a) crazy game, you know? I think a lot of people in my position would have decided not to take it (the Holloway fight). I do not regret anything. I had a lot of fun, I think it was a huge historic card for the UFC. And being part of that, being the best fight on that card, will last forever. And, once again, it was a big risk, I failed, and if I had won that fight, if I had gotten a quick knockout, I would have accepted that fight (against Islam makhachev), but it’s just the name of the game”, declared Gaethje in an interview with 'MMA Knockout'.

By continuing his speech, Justin dismissed the idea of retirement and guaranteed that his style would remain the same.

"(…) I've not finished yet. I will fight in the future and this is the only way I fight. Even if I wanted to change the way I fight, it wouldn't be possible. This is how I fight. This is how I've fought since I was a kid. So next time I go in there, you know, the best live show on Earth. We'll see if I have as good a dance partner as the one I had last weekend. But, yes, my intentions will be the same,” she concluded.
