Anthony Smith, who has a fight scheduled with Vitor Petrino, declared that he could fight against the Brazilian in the UFC

Red hot! The climate between Anthony Smith e Alex Poatán boils and takes on the air of declared war. In an interview with Submission Radio, the North American, known for his bravery inside the Octagon, didn't mince words and placed himself as one of the few fighters capable of facing the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) in a fight at UFC.

“If I can put myself in a 'fight' position, I think we would both take advantage of that opportunity. I don't know if it's a bit of 'true meets true'. And I'm one of the few who would go to war with him. He knows that,” said Smith.

With a record that boasts just 37 wins and 19 losses, the veteran prepare to face Victor Petrino No. UFC 301, in Rio de Janeiro, looking to get closer to the top of the category.

Poatan, in turn, still has no fight scheduled, but remains undefeated at light heavyweight (up to 93kg), boasting an overall record of 10 wins and two losses.
