José Aldo eliminates fears about his next opponent and guarantees that he is prepared to face his rival

Scheduled for triumphant return in UFC 301, José Aldo is preparing to face the current 14th placed player in the bantamweight rankings (up to 61,2kg.) Jonathan martinez. Aware that the North American has a stand-up skills and victories using leg kicks, the veteran dismissed his fears about sharing the octagon with his rival and assured that he was ready for strategy.

“For me it is a big challenge. We always try to study our opponents in detail. Jonathan, if I'm not mistaken, are two victories with low kicks, so, yes, we studied and visualized that. For me, as I'm an expert, it won't be the first time I face someone who does the same thing I've been doing for years,” said Aldo in an interview with MMA Junkie.

By continuing his speech, the former champion avoided provocations and preached respect to his next opponent.

“I don’t see any problem. I have to respect it, train hard, I have to always do my best so that when we get there we are very well prepared and without any surprises”, she concluded.
