Responsible for the last defeat of Francis Ngannou in the boxing ring, Anthony Joshua offered condolences to the Cameroonian following the news of the tragic passing of his son Kobe, just 1 year and three months old.

In a comment on Francis' Instagram post, the former world champion, who knocked out the Cameroonian in February this year, left a message of solidarity with his rival.

“May the memories you shared bring you comfort,” Joshua wrote.

Anthony Joshua wasn't the only one to leave a message of support for Francis Ngannou in this very difficult time. Before him, names like Conor McGregor, Chris Cyborg e Alexander Volkanovsky already had demonstrated in solidarity with the Cameroonian.

There is still no further information regarding the reasons that led to little Kobe's early death. Last Monday, Ngannou used social media to lament what happened in a harsh outburst.

“What is the purpose of life if what we are fighting tooth and nail for is what hits us the hardest!? Why is life so unfair and merciless? Why does life always take what we don't have? I’m completely finished”, said the fighter.
