Boxing legend provokes YouTuber and questions knockout ability before fight on July 20th

The climate of rivalry between Mike Tyson e Jake Paul remains at high temperature. The long-awaited fight boxing between the two, scheduled for July 20th in Texas (USA), with worldwide broadcast on Netflix, promises a spectacle of provocations and ferocity inside the ring.

In a recent press conference, the barbs between the fighters did not disappoint. Asked about excessive confidence in Jake Paul in knocking him out, Tyson took the opportunity to needle the YouTuber and, as a bonus, mention the name of Anderson Silva.

“What’s the other guy? Anderson Silva. He couldn't knock out these little guys, so how does he think he's going to knock me out? Who did he knock out? He knocked out little children. He never knocked out a real man”, said Tyson in a press interview to promote the event.

Mike is considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, having won several world titles and knocking out 44 opponents in 50 victories. His last official fight was in 2005, but he returned to the ring in 2020, for a no-points duel against Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw.


Jake is a famous YouTuber who started dedicating himself to boxing a few years ago. He has had ten professional fights, winning nine of them. With expressive names, Paul has already measured strength and gone through names like Anderson Silva, Ben Askren and Tyron woodley. Now, he will face his biggest challenge, facing a sports icon.
