Gegard Mousasi, executioner of names like Vitor belfort, Thiago Marreta e Chris Weidman, had his contract with PFL rescinded this Thursday (24), just one day after harsh criticism of the organization. The company's decision comes in response to complaints made by the Dutch-Armenian fighter, who accused the company of refusing to schedule fights for him due to his high salary.

In an interview with 'The MMA Hour', Mousasi expressed his frustration with the situation and revealed his intention to take legal action against the organization.

“My team is not happy. I believe we will file a lawsuit against the PFL. They refuse to dialogue. I've fought in several organizations, but the PFL is the worst I've ever worked with. I believe they bought Bellator, but they don't have the financial means to pay the fighters. Those who earn a high salary will not fight. Bellator fighters earn more,” declared the fighter.

Since his last fight in May 2023, when he lost by decision to Fabian Edwards, the fighter did not have the chance to step into the cage of the new organization.
