Best known for his serious and relentless appearance inside the octagon, Alex Poatán, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.) of the UFC, seems to have found a new way to express his personality: the 'stone head'.

The nickname, affectionately given by fans, became a symbol of the Brazilian fighter's strength. Now, Poatan has decided to take the game beyond social media and installed two statues with stone heads on the doorstep of his house in Connecticut, in the United States.

Poatan's future in the UFC

Currently, Poatan does not yet have a fight scheduled in the organization. The champion defended his title for the first time against Jamahal hill No. UFC 300, in April, and now waits for a new challenge. The main candidates are Jiri Prochazka, in a possible rematch, and Magomed Ankalayev.

With a record of ten wins and two losses, Alex has established himself as one of the most feared fighters in the UFC.
