Conor McGregor speaks out on social media after UFC 303 press conference was canceled

The Irish star did not explain the reasons for the postponement but apologized to his fans for the inconvenience caused

Hours after the cancellation of the press conference to publicize the UFC 303, which would take place this Tuesday afternoon (03), in Dublin (IRL), Conor McGregor spoke out on his social networks. On the old Twitter (now 'X'), the former Ultimate champion apologized to his fans for the inconvenience, however, without explaining the reason, he claimed 'obstacles that got out of control'.

“In consultation with the UFC, today's press conference has been canceled due to a number of obstacles beyond our control. I apologize to my Irish fans and fans around the world for the inconvenience and thank you for all your passion and support. I can’t wait to put on the greatest show ever in the Octagon,” McGregor wrote.


O UFC 303, which takes place on June 29th, marks the return of Conor McGregor to the octagon. The fighter has not performed since 2021, when he suffered a serious injury in the fight with Dustin poirier. The person chosen to face the 'Notorious' was Michael chandler. The American also has a career hiatus of more than one season.
