One of the main promises of Brazilian MMA, Carlos Prates won another resounding victory in the organization. On the preliminary card of UFC Louisville, which took place this Saturday (08), the Brazilian delivered a categorical performance and knocked out Charles Radtke in the first round, raising the audience in the arena.

Contender Series product, Carlos Prates wins his second fight in a row and remains undefeated in the biggest MMA organization in the world. At 30 years old, the Fighting Nerds athlete now has an MMA record of 19 triumphs and just six setbacks.

At the beginning of the confrontation, Radtke started putting pressure on Prates who managed to breathe and stop his opponent's good initial momentum. The two athletes began to focus on frank striking and excited the audience in Louisville. In the final minute of the round, Carlos began to dominate the center of the cage and opened up in his striking, landing good blows on the North American.

With less than a minute remaining, Carlos landed a spectacular knee to the North American's waistline, which bent his knee and went to the ground, forcing the referee to interrupt the confrontation and declare the Brazilian's victory.

First athlete to win 'The Ultimate Fighter' twice, Brad Katona returned to the path of victories with an impeccable performance against Jesse Butler in the unanimous decision of the judges.


Using his wrestling, the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) took down his rival and decisively dominated the first two rounds with a festival of punches and elbows in ground and pound, which even left a cut on Butler's face.

In the third round, Brad kept the fight standing for most of the round, however, in the final minute, Jesse lost his balance and went to the ground. Katona took advantage and went to mount, stopping his rival on the ground and punishing him with ground and pound until the bell sounded.

Continues the invincibility of Daniel Marcos in MMA. On the preliminary card of UFC Louisville, held this Saturday (08), the Peruvian beat Daniel Castañeda with a unanimous decision from the judges in a duel in the bantamweight division.

With his excellent striking, Daniel managed to impose himself on his rival who suffered from the Peruvian's strategy and also from the difficulty in finding the distance. Castañeda still tried to change the level and look for takedowns and, despite delivering a knockdown in the final seconds of the third round, he was unable to emerge victorious.

After 15 minutes of confrontation, the judges' scorecards declared the victory of Daniel Marcos by unanimous decision. It was the Peruvian's sixteenth consecutive career as a professional in the sport.
