“It’s a crazy sport. Conor can get there and knock out Chandler in the first round. He is one of the biggest stars in the sport, whether he likes it or not. If he tells the UFC he wants a title shot, then he could be next. Islam (Makhachev) will not deny this fight. (…) It’s a big fight, a big name, a lot more money. At the end of the day, people fight for legacy, but if they don't get paid, they won't fight,” said the businessman.

Declared disaffection of Conor McGregor, Abdelaziz warned that, in order to be competitive at the highest level again, the Irishman needs to put aside his bohemian life and focus on training.

“Listen, it's very possible, but you know, Conor has to give up the drinks and drugs and focus. He's a two-division champion and has talent, but it depends on whether the hard work is there or not.”
