Meet the Brazilians who will be in action at UFC Saudi Arabia

Find out more about the four Tupiniquin athletes who will participate in the historic card that will take place on June 22nd, in Riyadh

Next Saturday (22), the Ultimate octagon arrives in the Middle East for the first edition of the UFC Saudi Arabia. In the main fight, the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) Robert whittaker faces the Russian prospect Ikram Aliskerov. The card will also feature four Brazilian athletes. Johnny Walker

Seventh place in the light heavyweight rankings (up to 93kg), Johnny Walker He once again felt the bitter taste of defeat in his last fight. After four unbeaten matches, with three wins and one no-contest, the athlete from Rio was knocked out by Magomed Ankalayev last January and distanced itself from the top-5 in the category. At 32 years old, the Tupiniquim has a professional MMA record of 21 positive results and eight negative results.

Felipe Lima

The manauara Felipe Lima will make his debut in the largest MMA organization in the world on the main card of UFC Saudi Arabia. In the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the Brazilian will face the Tajik Muhammad Naimov, who is undefeated in three fights in the organization. 'D'Ouro' is 26 years old and has a record in the sport of 12 triumphs and just one setback.

Joilton Peregrino

Another Brazilian, but more experienced, will make his Ultimate debut on the card on June 22nd. Veteran of major organizations such as Brave, ACB and PFL, middleweight (up to 83,9kg) Joilton Peregrino will make his debut against the Russian Shara Magomedov, who is undefeated in professional MMA and debuted in the company with a victory over fellow Brazilian fighter Bruno Blindado.

Brendson Ribeiro

Athlete in the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg), Brendson Ribeiro debuted in the organization last February with a knockout defeat to the Chinese Mingyang Zhang. Hired after standing out on the reality show Contender Series, 'Gorilla' is 27 years old and has a professional MMA record of 15 triumphs and just six setbacks.
