After the start of the fight, Julian imposed himself on his rival by working well on combinations of blows, mixing attacks on the face and waistline, also aiming to wear down his rival physically. Uncomfortable with his opponent's striking, Zurcher tried some takedowns in the partial, but the North American showed good defense and rejected them all.

In the second half, Zurcher returned more aggressive, controlling the center of the cage and quickly took the lead in the confrontation. Halfway through the round, the Mexican exchanged blows at close range and connected with a beautiful cross that made Brahyan fall sprawling and forced the referee to stop the fight.

With the triumph, Brahyan Zurcher maintains his unbeaten record and now boasts a record of nine consecutive victories in professional MMA.
