Alex Poatán He fell in favor with his fans, but also with his boss, Dana White. On the eve of UFC 303, an event in which he faces Jiri Prochazka, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.) made the boss 'join the dance' and launch the famous 'flame'. The scene was recorded by the Brazilian on social media.
“Do you call or not call?” asked Poatan.
Afterwards, White responds: 'call it!'.

In recent years, Poatan has achieved a meteoric rise in the UFC, winning, in less than three years, two belts in the largest MMA organization in the world. Throughout his career, the Brazilian led the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg) and, today, occupies the top spot in the light heavyweight division.
This Saturday (29), Alex returns to the octagon for his second appearance of the season. The champion measures strength with Jiri Prochazka, in rematch against his 2023 victim.
If he wins, Poatan will reach the mark of two belt defenses. The Brazilian then expands his legacy in mixed martial arts and gets closer to legends of the sport.
Beaten by Poatan at the end of last season, Prochazka has the opportunity to avenge the tough knockout suffered in the clash. To do this, the Czech needs to nullify the excellent striking of the São Paulo native, who stands out for his precision and forcefulness.
