Keeping an eye on the rise of Diego lopes in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg.), Movsar Evloev who was constantly challenged by the Brazilian and refused a rematch, ended up regretting it and turning back. Despite being currently sixth in the category, the Russian's desire was not met and he found himself lost among the division's talents.
"Hey, Diego lopes, I want to give you a rematch in the 'Sphere' because aljamain sterling You’re running with all your life and this time I’m going to finish you,” the Russian posted on his official Facebook account. 'X' (old Twitter).

Ready to retaliate against the Brazilian, Evloev recalled Diego's history of defeats and attacked him.
“Diego, you lost six times. You've already been knocked out by two bad guys. Dan Ige he took the fight four hours in advance and in the third round he exposed you. Don’t talk too much, you trash!”, he shot.
“On Saturday night, Dan and I did something you've never done in your life. You only have one fight in 13 months. You have no right to anything. First you try to finish someone off, at least try for a submission”, concluded the Brazilian.
Rivals in Diego's debut in the organization, the athletes faced each other in 2023, when Evloev was left without an opponent at the last minute and Lopes accepted an unexpected call. In an exciting three-round duel, the Russian ended up winning after going through major problems against his opponent.
