Current featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.), Ilia Topuria shows that he is hungry for his first title defense in the category. Despite having agreed verbally with Max Holloway to face each other, the Spanish-Georgian states that the plans for the eventual fight have cooled down and that is why he is willing to measure forces against athletes who are available for such a challenge.

“You should ask Holloway. First he said he needed time to gain weight, then he had family issues to deal with. There are several names that speak publicly that they want to face me, so I hope someone lives up to their words. That’s what I do, I’m a fighter”, declared Topuria during a press conference for the film 'El Matador', held in Madrid, Spain.
