After losing his unbeaten record in the UFC, Michael Page speaks out on social media

The former Bellator didn't care about excuses and maintained confidence in continuing his career in Ultimate

No UFC 303, held on June 29st, Michael Page was defeated by Ian Gary in a very balanced confrontation and lost his unbeaten record in the organization. However, on his Instagram, the 'MVP' released a motivational phrase, implying that he still dreams of winning the welterweight division belt (up to 77,1kg).

“When defeat comes, accept it as a sign that your plans are not solid, rebuild them and sail once again towards your coveted goal,” Page said.

Thirteenth in the welterweight rankings, Michael debuted in the organization in UFC 299, held in March, with a victory over the veteran Kevin holland. However, in his second fight in the company, the 'MVP' was defeated by the Irishman Ian Gary, UFC 303, in a very balanced confrontation that ended in the judges' decision.

A former Bellator athlete, Page is 37 years old and began his professional career in 2012. In 12 seasons as an MMA athlete, the 'MVP' achieved a record of 22 victories, 12 of which were by knockout and only three setbacks. In his career, Michael has already beaten names like Douglas lima, Kevin holland and Paul Daley.
