Record holder for consecutive defeats, Tony Ferguson reveals vomiting due to nervousness before UFC Abu Dhabi

Last Saturday (3), Tony Ferguson broke the sad mark of the worst losing streak in the history of Ultimate when he was finished by Michael chiesa in the first round of a UFC Abu Dhabi main card duel, accumulating his eighth consecutive setback. After the event, the veteran opened up and admitted to having felt the pressure before the fight.

In a press conference given after the defeat, Ferguson admitted that he had vomited out of nervousness before going into the Octagon for the fight against Michael chiesa.

“I felt bad, I vomited three or four times out of nervousness. Normally I don't get nervous, but back then I was sick. This is the only sport that makes me feel that way,” said the veteran.

After being submitted, 'El Cucuy' placed one of his gloves on the floor of the octagon and left the sequence of his career open. At the press conference, however, the veteran already seemed determined to stay active, even if he is no longer in the UFC.
