Still undefeated in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg.), Deiveson Figueiredo not only triumphed at UFC Abu Dhabi, but also got into the sights of Petr yan, former division champion. Despite having previously expressed interest in the confrontation, the Russian once again used his social networks to spark possible rivalry and interest on the part of the God of War for a possible meeting.
“I like this,” declared Petr on his official Facebook account. 'X' (old Twitter) after suggesting that the athletes face each other in their next appearance in the Octagon.

Now at UFC 299, when it occurred in March, the Russian defeated song yadong in the unanimous decision of the judges and then asked for the opportunity to face the Brazilian.

After all, the president has already declared that Umar Nurmagomedov will be the next challenger for the belt after victory in the main fight of UFC Abu Dhabi. The expectation is that Deiveson will take fourth place in the ranking, while the Russian will become second place.
