UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), Dricus Du Plessis, had an unusual moment during his preparations for the title fight against Israel adesanya No. UFC 305, on August 17th. In a video released by the 'Heck Check' podcast, the South African hit a fan on the body who was participating in an open training session, causing the fan to fall.

The fan, who appeared to be excited about the opportunity to train with his idol, did not appear to be fully prepared for the impact of the blow and fell suffering abdominal pain. The incident sparked discussions on social media about the limits between professionals and amateurs in MMA, and about the responsibility of athletes in situations like this.

Declared enemies, the fighters began a climate of enmity after Adesanya stated that there is only one king in Africa. Born in Nigeria, while Du Plessis is South African, the former champion maintains that he is the only real representative of the continent. The first look was carried out at the UFC 290 and generated great expectations for the confrontation.

Protagonists of UFC 305, Du Plessis and Adesanya face each other on August 17, in Perth, Australia. Currently, the Nigerian appears as a slight favorite at the bookmakers.
