Considered by many as the greatest middleweight (up to 83,9kg) in UFC history, Israel adesanya praised by Tom aspinall, current interim heavyweight champion. Without worrying about ego, the athlete from England didn't mince words when highlighting the Nigerian's qualities and questioned how the MMA audience might not be fans of the former champion of the category.

"Israel adesanya, such contrasting styles, and by the way, if you're not an Izzy fan, what are you? I mean, the guy is absolutely technical. The problem with Izzy is that the styles are so different that they are in different universes, you know? They never care about a different spectrum. The way Izzy fights is with his hands a little low, and he always keeps you guessing. But because he's very long, 1,80m at middleweight is very tall for a middleweight, he does that kind of thing a lot. He is very good with his kicks; he simulates with his legs too, so he will do a lot of that and then come on top”, highlighted Aspinall in an interview with TNT Sports.

As he continued speaking, Tom admitted that he learned a lot from the former champion while watching him.

“We've seen him with his brutal leg kicks, we've seen him with his high kicks. He is very long and knows how to read the fight very well. He's also had a lot of fights. I learned a lot just by watching him, you know what I mean,” he concluded.
