Alex Poatán surprised his fans by showing his more relaxed side. In a video for his 'YouTube' channel, the Brazilian ventured into unknown lands: the English language. With a peculiar sense of humor, the current UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) improvised a few sentences, demonstrating that, despite not being fluent, the desire to communicate in another language is present.
“Hi, how are you? Good to see you. I miss you (Hi, how are you? Good to see you, I miss you). Call it!” joked the fighter, mixing English with his famous catchphrase that echoes in octagons around the world.

Poatan revealed that he has respect for those who venture into other languages, especially those who do not have English as their native language. Despite only mastering Portuguese, the Brazilian has already had memorable moments in English, such as taunting Adesanya after a fight, with the phrase 'Come to daddy'.
In interviews and speeches, Alex usually counts on the help of his coaches, Plínio Cruz and Glover Teixeira, to communicate with an international audience. However, the attempt to express himself in English demonstrates the fighter's desire to connect even more with his fans around the world.
