Keep an eye on Dana White's surprising announcements, Jamahal hill did not hesitate to express frustration with the outcome of the confrontation between Alex Poatán e Khalil rountree Jr to UFC 307. The Brazilian's rival, the fighter highlighted his compatriot's controversial history and declared that his attitude tarnishes the history of the sport. Duel is scheduled for October 5th.
“I can't believe what was just announced!!! So a guy drops out of a title challenger fight because of a failed drug test for banned substances and is rewarded with a title shot?!! This is terrible for the sport and makes the ranking completely useless”, said Jamahal on his official account. X.

Previously scheduled to face Jamahal in the penultimate fight of the UFC 303, Rountree had to give up the opportunity after failing a drug test. Despite the turbulent episode, the fighter has already served his suspension and is ready to return to the Octagon on October 5th. On the other hand, Hill is hoping to gain another opportunity to face Poatan.
Protagonists of UFC 307, Poatan and Rountree were announced this Friday (16) as the next athletes to fight for the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg.). Currently placed eighth in the ranking, the North American is coming off a victory over Anthony Smith in his last appearance.
