Holder of the interim heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg.) in the UFC, Tom aspinall raised the tone of provocations against the linear champion, Jon Jones. The Brit used an ironic tone to criticize his rival's physique and suggested that he could end 'Bones' career without even having to face him in the octagon.
"We know that Jon Jones is a little overweight lately, the guy was sitting there with his fingers full of Cheetos, waiting for me to get knocked out so he could start tweeting about it. Since I won that fight, he's been completely quiet. I will retire Jon Jones without even having to fight him”, said Aspinall in an interview with 'Believe You Me'.

Tom aspinall seeks to unify the belts in the category and has been pressuring the UFC to schedule the fight against Jones. With a record of 15 wins — all by knockout or submission — and three losses, he is considered one of the most promising prospects in the division for a long reign in the future.
The biggest name in the history of light heavyweight (up to 93kg), where he defended the title on 11 occasions, Jones is now the current heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg). The next challenge for 'Bones' does not yet have an official date, but everything indicates that it will be against the veteran Stipe Miocic, in November, at Madison Square Garden, in New York.
At 37 years of age, Jon Jones has already beaten big names in the history of MMA such as Lyoto Machida, Daniel Cormier, Vitor belfort, Rashad evans e Glover Teixeira. 'Bones' has a professional record of 27 wins, one setback and one 'no contest'.
