The former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.), Jamahal hill, shows great interest in returning to the Octagon as quickly as possible. In a video published on his official YouTube channel, the North American directly challenged Magomed Ankalayev and made himself available to replace Aleksandar rakic, if the Serb is forced to withdraw from the fight scheduled for the UFC 308, in Abu Dhabi, on October 26th.

“If my phone rings and they need someone to come in and knock you out, bro, you’re a piece of cake for me,” Hill said.

Hill won the light heavyweight belt in early 2023, by knocking out Glover Teixeira in Rio de Janeiro. However, a serious injury forced him to relinquish the title. On his return, he was knocked out by Alex Poatán in the first round of UFC 300.

With the defeat, Jamahal seeks to return to his winning ways and position himself as one of the main challengers in the category. By challenging Ankalaev, the American demonstrates his ambition to return to the top of the rankings and, who knows, win the belt again. In its trajectory in MMA professional, he has 12 positive results and two negative results, in addition to one fight without result.
