STRONG IMAGE: Dana White shares photo of scary cut on fighter on Contender Series

Dana White shared an image on her social media that shocked MMA fans. The UFC president's record shows fighter Michael Aswell with a deep cut below his eyebrow, the result of his battle against Bogdan Grad on last Tuesday's Contender Series (27).

The injury, which extends almost the entire length of the eyebrow and reaches close to the root of the nose, is one of the most serious ever seen in an octagon.

UFC legend regrets 'disrespect' from MMA fans

The fight, marked by intensity and frenetic exchange of blows, ended with Aswell's defeat by split decision. The fighter, however, left his mark on the competition with his fierce performance. He connected precise blows and showed solid defense, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Austrian.

Despite the setback, Michael Aswell impressed Dana White. In an interview after the show, the president confirmed that, if a fight opportunity arises at short notice in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the fighter will be contacted. Still, he didn't leave with the contract in hand from the 'boss'. In his career, there are nine positive results and two negative results.
