The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) punished the Brazilian Mayra Sheetara for an unusual reason. After losing by technical knockout due to medical interruption in the UFC 303 all with Macy chiasson, the bantamweight (61,2 kg.) had US$ 2,5 (around R$ 14 at the current exchange rate) of his purse confiscated by the commission for jumping over the octagon fence to talk to Dana White.

After a meeting on Thursday (28), it was determined that the amount retained will serve as a fine, and the fighter will only have to pay US$ 157,04 in fees. According to NSAC, the Brazilian acted 'against previous instructions, leaving the octagon by jumping over the fence'.

Mayra was not the first
On that occasion, Sheetara was overcome after suffering a big cut on her right eyebrow, after being hit by a powerful elbow in the second round. Unhappy with the decision, the fighter protested and then went to the president of the Ultimate.
The situation is similar to what happened with Diego Lopes, fined for the same reason after beating Sodiq Yussuf by knockout in UFC 300, in April of this year, losing US$ 5 thousand.
