Kayla Harrison faces Ketlen Scallop No. UFC 307, with the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2 kg) in sight. But despite still being one fight away from establishing herself as the number one contender, the two-time Olympic champion already has a preference for a specific opponent for the 'title shot'.

In an interview with the American YouTube channel 'Grind City Media', Harrison said he wanted to face former champion Juliana Peña, who is looking to regain the title against Rachel Pennington on the same night.

“I don’t care. I really don’t care. The goal is the belt. But if we’re talking about Kayla, the psychopath, of course I’d rather elbow Julianna in the head than Raquel. Julianna’s face is annoying. Of course I’d choose that face,” said the fighter.

Despite 'choosing' an opponent, the judoka also made it clear that she is available to come in as a substitute if something happens to one of the two.

“If one of these b*****s gets sick, hurt or injured, I will take that fight on 30 seconds notice. I’m ready. I’m the best in the world,” she concluded.
