He is the organization's former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg), A. J. McKee, who in turn faces Paul Hughes at PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants in October.
In an interview with the North American website 'MMA Junkie', the Russian stated that if both beat their respective opponents, the next step would be to challenge the former champion.

AJ McKee at lightweight?
Despite having spent most of his career as a featherweight (up to 65,7 kg), McKee is no stranger to changing weight classes. In October 2022, the American made his debut at 70,3 kg when he faced compatriot Spike Carlyle, where he has remained ever since.
