Cast to star UFC Las Vegas 97 this Saturday (7th), Sean brady expresses nothing but confidence to test oneself against a legitimate black belt Gilbert Durinho. With a leading position in grappling, the American acknowledged his opponent's successful history, but stated that he believes his level is higher when it comes to the jiu-jitsu department.
“Gilbert, incredible jiu-jitsu. Obviously, he’s won [world championships] and everything, but that was a long time ago, and it was in the gi. The gi and no-gi are completely different, and MMA jiu-jitsu is completely different. I think he has great submissions. I’m sure he’s great on the bottom, but I definitely think I have better jiu-jitsu and I want to test that,” Brady said during his appearance at Media Day.

Despite his speech, Sean did not miss the opportunity to recognize the greatness of the fight he is about to take part in.
“I was kind of asking for Gilbert. I was asking for a lot of guys, but Gilbert was definitely one of them. I respect Gilbert. He’s an incredible fighter and he’s done incredible things. He’s fought for the belt and he’s had competitive fights with some of the best guys. He had a great match against Jack until it didn’t work out for him. He’s a great fighter and competitor, and I’m looking forward to testing myself against him. I think this is my first real veteran fight where I’m going to test myself against someone who’s been there and done that,” he concluded.
