“The mindset I have now is like my debut. In my debut, I didn’t care, I just wanted to go out there, not think too much. There’s always pressure, but I’m trying to put that aside and do like my debut. I’m going to go out there and show everyone how good I am. I’m going to go out there and beat this guy on Saturday night. I’m not thinking, ‘I have to win.’ No, like my debut, I want to show them how good I am and that’s my mindset,” Durinho said at the media day.

“I’m always positive and happy. If I fight well and win the fight, I celebrate on Saturday night. I definitely take the family out for a good meal with the team, but Sunday is another day. We continue to celebrate the win for maybe four days or until the next event, so I don’t celebrate as much when I win, but I also don’t get too mad if I lose. A win or a loss doesn’t change who I am. I definitely want to win, but it’s not like, ‘Oh my God, I lost. Now it’s all over.’ It’s not like that,” he concluded.
