This Saturday night will be special for Brazilian MMA fans. UFC Las Vegas 97, held at the Apex in Las Vegas (USA), promises to shake up the fighting world with a card full of national talent. The main event of the night, September 7th, could mean 'Independence or Death' for Gilbert Burns, who faces Sean Brady. The fight is valid for the welterweight division (up to 77kg).

Durinho, seeking redemption after two consecutive defeats, will face a promising opponent. The Brazilian, known for his jiu-jitsu skills, is looking to get back on the winning track and establish himself among the top names in the division.

A former welterweight (up to 77kg) title challenger, the fighter from Niterói lost to Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena, respectively. His overall record is 22 wins and seven losses.

Brady, with an impeccable record, is aiming for another victory and the chance to move closer to the top of the rankings. The American defeated Kelvin Gastelum in his most recent fight, which took place in September of this year. In his career, he has 16 wins and one loss.

But the action isn't limited to the main fight. Jéssica Bate-Estaca, one of the UFC's veterans, faces the young and undefeated Natália Silva in a duel that promises to be one of the best of the night in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), which is led by Weili Zhang.

Former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg), Bate-Estaca is looking to maintain her good form and get closer to a new title fight. The fighter from Paraná, who is in a multi-million dollar fight with her former coach, is ranked sixth in the rankings and has a record of 26 wins and 12 losses.

Meanwhile, Natália, with an aggressive and technical style, is looking for another victory to consolidate her name in the organization. A promising fighter up to 56,7 kg, the Minas Gerais native has the most important fight of her career and the first chance to reach the top 5.
