On that occasion, the Brazilian was defeated by Senegalese Oumar Kane, by unanimous decision, at One Fight Night 13. So far, the São Paulo native still does not have a date for a return, which has been displeasing the fighter.

In an interview with the North American website 'MMA Fighting', the black belt clarified that the time inactive was not a personal choice.
“A lot of people have been asking me lately if I have retired. The answer is of course no, the reason I am not fighting is not my choice, I have been waiting for a fight for almost a year, but I have no luck,” said ‘Buchecha’, who is 34 years old.
