The anticipation for the co-main event of the UFC Las Vegas 97 was tall and Natalia Silva e Jessica Stacker managed to overcome her. After 15 minutes of an extremely busy 'war', the promising Minas Gerais fighter got the better of her and emerged victorious against the former champion from Paraná, in a unanimous decision by the judges (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
More experienced, Jessica Stacker took control of the aggression and moved forward from the first minute of the fight. The former champion cornered Natalia Silva against the fence for practically the entire fight, but the fighter from Minas Gerais made great use of lateral movement, kicks and counterattacks to slow down her rival's momentum and win the three rounds.

As a result, Natalia Silva will gain positions and should assume sixth place in the flyweight ranking (up to 56,7 kg) in the update next Tuesday (10). Jéssica, on the other hand, should lose positions, but remains ranked in fourth place in the strawweight (up to 52,1 kg), the lowest category.
