Usman Nurmagomedov was the highest-paid fighter on the Bellator San Diego card. The Russian pocketed $100 (around R$559 at the current exchange rate) for the defense of his belt in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg) against Alexander Shabily. The night of fights not only had excitement inside the octagon, but also impressive numbers when it comes to pay. The amounts were released by the California State Athletic Commission.

Athletes' salaries were revealed by the California Athletic Commission, and Usman Nurmagomedov, as expected, topped the list. The Russian, who retained his lightweight belt with a dominant performance over Alexander Shabliy, received a flat payout of $100, with no additional bonus for a win.

Lorenz Larkin, another prominent name on the card, also secured a $100 payday. Alexander Shabliy, defeated by Nurmagomedov, pocketed $50 (around R$279).

Other fighters whose names have been released include Douglas lima, Sumiko Inaba, Yancy Medeiros and Bryce Meredith. The values ​​varied according to experience, importance of the fight and results obtained in the event.
