Alexa grasso shocked the world by finishing Valentina Shevchenko in March 2023, ending one of the longest reigns in the organization's history. After a controversial draw in the rematch, the two face each other in the co-main event of the UFC 306, next Saturday (14). However, even though she has a great rival ahead of her, the flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg.) already seems to have new challenges in mind, including a fight against Weili Zhang.

"Weili Zhang It's my dream fight. It would be one of my biggest fights so far. She's strong, powerful and well-rounded. She's a great fighter and I've even heard that she'd love to test herself at flyweight (up to 56,7 kg), so I'd love to host her," the fighter said in an interview with 'Stake'.

However, Grasso also said he had other opponents besides the Chinese on his radar.

“I'm not the one who chooses these things, I think Manon Fiorot “She deserves the title shot more than Rose (Namajunas),” Grasso continued. “She’s been in the division longer and has a longer winning streak. She was also next in line before she got injured, so I would like to fight Fiorot.”
