Amid the commotion caused by the retirement of Demetrious Johnson, announced last Friday (6), during ONE Championship 168, Dana White confirmed what many fans already expected: the North American will have his place reserved in the UFC Hall of Fame.

In an interview given after UFC Fight Night, the organization's president praised the career of the former flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg) and guaranteed his entry into the select group of the greatest names in the history of MMA.

“If you could go back to when he was here, I would defend him from the fans. So who defended Demetrious Johnson more than me? Good for him. He's had an amazing career, I've never had any problems with Demetrious Johnson. Definitely (he will be included),” White said.
