The dream of becoming a UFC fighter ended up becoming a nightmare for Quemuel Ottoni. Former welterweight champion (up to 77 kg.) of the 'Jungle Fight', the Brazilian had the chance to enter the biggest organization in the world last Tuesday (10), but the fight ended up not happening. Minutes before the fight, the Brazilian could not compete due to psychological problems.

“I ended up not fighting yesterday after having a lot of anxiety, adrenaline, and freezing a little after seeing all of that. Watching from the other side of the screen is one thing, but being there and seeing the cameras, the cars... There is no excuse for what happened. I gained weight. It was a struggle to regain the weight, I felt sick on the way back, but not even that is an excuse. It was a mix of everything, the anxiety, seeing the camera, seeing the cutman doing my hands, the people I saw the most, and that's it,” said the fighter, in a video on social media.
