Michael chandler has been away from the octagon since November 2022, when he was submitted by Dustin poirier No. UFC 281. Even with a negative record in the organization, the former Bellator champion believes that a victory against Charles of the Bronx No. UFC 309 will qualify him for another fight for the belt.

the fight between Charles of the Bronx e Michael chandler will be the co-headlining attraction of the UFC 309, an event scheduled for November 16th in New York. The main attraction of the show, Jon Jones defends the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg) against the veteran Stipe Miocic.
