The speculated superfight between Alex Poatán, owner of the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg), and Jon Jones, heavyweight champion (up to 120 kg), is increasingly distant from happening. After the fight was speculated on many occasions, the probable retirement of Jon Jones added to a meeting with an exchange of compliments may have ended any opportunity.

During the UFC 306, held last Saturday (14), in Las Vegas (USA), Jones and Poatan met backstage at the event and posed for photos. This week, in an interview with the 'YouTube' channel 'Clocked N' Loaded', the heavyweight champion praised the Brazilian.
