In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', Charles of the Bronx has once again opened the doors for a possible duel against Conor McGregor, but made it clear that he would only accept the fight if it kept him on the path to a title shot.
“Would I be next in line if I beat McGregor? If that’s the plan, then I’m 100 percent in. But if you say I have to choose one of two things, I’ll definitely go for the title. If I have the opportunity to fight Conor and make a ton of money, because he’s a big seller and so am I, then it would be a massive pay-per-view, not to mention the purse, and I’m still next for the belt, then I’d definitely take it. Why not?” Charles explained.

“My managers know my plan. I want fights that will lead me to the belt. I’ve been posting these days that I was waiting for the boss to call. The UFC definitely sees that.
