With just under two weeks left for the long-awaited UFC 307, led by the light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) belt dispute between Alex Poatán e Khalil Rountree Jr., an old acquaintance of the Brazilian gave his opinion on what he expects from the fight that takes place on October 5th, in Salt Lake City, in the United States.

Former champion of the category and victim of Alex Poatán in history UFC 300, in April, Jamahal hill ensures that the duel of UFC 307 will end in a knockout and imagine the Brazilian having difficulty dealing with the left-handed base of the dangerous Rountree.

“It’s going to be a knockout. It’s definitely going to be a knockout. Khalil doesn’t have the stamina for five rounds and he’s already run out of stamina at much slower paces than he’ll have to fight Alex. Alex is going to start slow, he’s going to take his time. Even though it seems like he just wants to feel the fight, he’s going to push himself forward more than it seems. What Khalil will have going for him is the fact that he’s a lefty and has valuable southpaw threats. I’ve never seen Pereira dominate a southpaw with so many threats. If you have leftpaw weapons, he’s definitely going to have a hard time,” analyzed the former champion.

Although I do not agree with the choice of Khalil rountree as the next challenger for Alex Poatán, Jamahal hill guarantees that he will be present in Salt Lake City for the event, as he believes that the fight could have direct implications for his future in the category.

“Yes, I’ll be there because it makes sense. It affects what’s next for me and stuff like that. I haven’t changed my mind, I still think it’s a weird marriage, but it is what it is,” he concluded.
