For more than three years without stepping into the octagon and without an opponent after the confirmation of the duel between Michael chandler e Charles of the Bronx, Conor McGregor has once again appealed to the UFC to set a date for his return to competition.

In a post on the social network 'X' (formerly Twitter), the former featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) champion shared an email received from 'Drug Free Sport International', UFC's partner in doping control, with the negative result of a test carried out by the fighter in September.

“Most tested athlete on the UFC roster twice. I deserve my fight date #cleanathlete,” wrote the Irishman.

First simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history, Conor McGregor is far from his peak. At 36 years old and out of action since July 2021, the Irishman has three losses in his last four appearances in the Octagon and has not won a fight since January 2020.
