The recent resignation of Muhammad Mokayev of the UFC took many people by surprise, mainly because of the positive record of the Russian-born British prospect. At 24 years old, 'The Punisher' won all six of his fights in the Ultimate, but ended up being cut just after his last victory, over Manel kape, at UFC 304, in Manchester, England, for reasons that go beyond the octagon.
Far from Ultimate, Muhammad Mokayev has returned to Brave CF, his former home, and seems to be doing very well. In a post on social media, the British fighter revealed that he is receiving three times more than he was receiving at Dana White's event and declared himself 'the highest paid flyweight on the planet'. Despite this, Mokaev made it clear his intention to return to the biggest MMA organization in the world.
“The highest paid flyweight in the world at the moment even without the @bravemmaf belt. But of course my goal is to return to the UFC because it is the number 1 organization in the world,” he wrote.
Muhammad Mokayev has yet to confirm a date for his return to Brave CF, an organization based in the Middle East. The flyweight has fought twice in 2024, beating Alex Perez in March and Manel kape in July.
