Fight between Diego Lopes' rival and former champion is rescheduled for UFC 310

Through its social networks, the UFC announced this Friday (27) the new date for the fight between the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), aljamain sterling e Movsar Evloev, in the featherweight category (up to 65,7 kg). The two athletes will face each other on December 7th, at UFC 310, which takes place in Las Vegas.

Initially, the two were going to face each other in UFC 307. However, Sterling injured his elbow during training. At first, the Russian expressed his desire to continue on the card, even launching a challenge to rival Diego Lopes, but a new adversary not found and the fight was postponed.

Former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg.), aljamain sterling debuted in the new category in April this year, in the legendary UFC 300. On that occasion, the American defeated Calvi Kattar by unanimous decision.

Evloev is undefeated as a professional, winning all 18 of his fights so far. Among several opponents, the Russian was the first opponent of Diego lopes in the Ultimate, in May 2023, winning by decision. In his last fight, he won arnold allen No. UFC 297.
