The lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) from São Paulo faces the American Charlie Campbell No. UFC 309, scheduled for November 16, at Madison Square Garden, in New York, United States. At 28, Mauricio Ruffy has a professional record of ten wins and only one loss and arrived at the UFC through the 2023 season of the Contender Series, when he knocked out Raimond Magomedaliev. His debut in the Ultimate was in great style, knocking out Jamie Mullarkey in impeccable performance in UFC 301, in Rio de Janeiro, in May of this year.
