The overwhelming knockout of Alex Poatán about Khalil rountree Jr. no UFC 307, an event held last Saturday (5), continues to give people something to talk about. In an interview with 'The Schmo', Conor McGregor did not spare praise for the Brazilian and stated: Poatan could be the 'kryptonite' of Jon Jones in heavy weights (up to 120,2kg.).
The former featherweight and lightweight champion envisions a fight between the Brazilian and the American. For McGregor, Poatan's fighting style, with his powerful kicks and explosive combinations, would be a big challenge for Jones, who is still trying to adapt to the heavyweight division.

“Someone has to go for three belts, it’s either me or him. I think he causes a lot of problems for the Jon Jones. It's a dangerous style for Jon. But it's good for him, because he's not that big, Jon is new to the heavyweight division. Jon had a good fight against Cyryl Gane, but he's still being tested at heavyweight. And I'm sure in the back of his mind, he thinks some guys are too big, and Alex is a good example. I'd be very excited to see that fight happen," McGregor said.
Alex Poatan vs Jon Jones is unlikely
The possibility of Poatan moving up a category just to challenge Jon Jones is unlikely. 'Bones' is expected to fight just one more fight, which is scheduled for UFC 309, in November, in front of Stipe Miocic.
If the Brazilian chooses to go to the new division, the most likely challenge is Tom aspinall, which also left the possibility open.
